Ich arbeite gegen eine Welt, die den Menschen in starre Formen zwingt.<\/p>\n

Patriarchale Ordnung zeigt sich nicht nur in Machtverh\u00e4ltnissen, Gesetzen und Blickregimen. Sie schreibt sich auch in R\u00e4ume ein, in Architektur, in Gestaltung, in die Oberfl\u00e4chen des Alltags. Sie lebt in der Gl\u00e4ttung, in der Normierung, in der Disziplin der klaren Linie, im Zwang zur Eindeutigkeit, im kalten Versprechen von Funktionalit\u00e4t.<\/p>\n

Mit der Industrialisierung wurde nicht nur Produktion beschleunigt. Es wurde auch Wahrnehmung diszipliniert. Sch\u00f6nheit wurde reduziert, Verspieltheit verdr\u00e4ngt, Widerspruch bereinigt. Der Mensch sollte sich an einer Umwelt orientieren, die ihm nicht \u00e4hnelt: hart, rationalisiert, bin\u00e4r, kontrolliert.<\/p>\n

So entstand eine emotionale Kluft zwischen Innenwelt und \u00e4u\u00dferer Form. Zwischen K\u00f6rper und Umgebung. Zwischen Sehnsucht und System.<\/p>\n

Ich begreife diese Form von Reduktion nicht als neutrale \u00e4sthetische Entscheidung, sondern als Ausdruck von Herrschaft. Dort, wo nur Linie, Raster, Ordnung und Funktion gelten, wird das Lebendige zur\u00fcckgedr\u00e4ngt: das Ambivalente, das Sinnliche, das Weiche, das Unfertige, das \u00dcberfl\u00fcssige, das Spielerische.<\/p>\n

Meine Arbeit sucht nach Gegenbildern.<\/p>\n

Ich will Formen \u00f6ffnen, die verschlossen wurden. Ich will Sch\u00f6nheit nicht als Dekoration, sondern als Widerstand begreifen.
