Portfolio
Collage, drawing, and visual worlds from Berlin since 2019
On this portfolio page, works by Dima Dobrovolskij are brought together that were created at the intersection of collage and drawing. The series presented move between political, social, and poetic concerns, addressing themes such as shifts in perspective, communication, objectification, patriarchal structures, and public intervention.
In addition to the series presented here, several new projects are currently emerging at the intersection of collage, research, and social observation — including 365 Envelopes, a body of work on Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, and Deconstruct Patriarchy. The works range from analog and digital collages to drawing series and conceptual approaches.
