#NIEWIEDERISTJETZT – Political Collages Against the Shift to the Right

The series #NIEWIEDERISTJETZT is an artistic engagement with the current shift to the right in Germany. Drawing on the political force of John Heartfield photomontages, historical image strategies are translated into the present and recharged as a visual warning. The works combine quotation, sharp condensation, and social critique into a clear anti-fascist position. Created in collaboration within the artist group “Zweitmeinung,” the posters were pasted across Berlin’s urban space in the context of the 2025 election. The series understands itself not only as a reflection on history, but as a direct intervention in the present: loud, striking, and deliberately confrontational. It serves as a reminder that fascism is not confined to the past, but begins where social indifference becomes normality.
